Meet Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s 3 Kids: Gracie, Maggie, and Audrey

Tim McGraw and Faith Hill aren’t just a country-music power couple—they’re also star parents to daughters Gracie, Maggie, and Audrey. Becoming parents in 1997 with the arrival of Gracie, they now share three grown-up girls together. The proud parents don’t miss an opportunity to gush about their children, either. 

“We’ve raised three strong, independent, strong-minded young women,” the “Humble And Kind” singer shared with People in a 2021 cover story. “And what I’m most grateful for is just how normal our kids are and how grounded they are and how much they respect themselves and other people. It makes me feel like we’ve done a pretty decent job, especially Mom.”

His wife and 1883 co-star deserves the shoutout. Despite her burgeoning career as a singer and actress, Hill always chose to put her family first. “Once you’re a mom, you’re always a mom,” she told The Independent in 2022. “Everything I think about in my life, I think about it as a mom, period. Not as an artist or whatever, I’m a mom first.” 

In another interview with People, she explained that her life experiences—particularly being adopted as an infant—have shaped her focus on her family. “Having been adopted, I really have a strong sense—a necessity almost—for stability. A foundation where my family is concerned,” she said.

Over the years, the typically macho McGraw has embraced being a girl dad, opening up about being “outnumbered” in a 2021 interview with now-defunct lifestyle publication Leo Edit. “[S]ometimes I think myself more macho than I am for sure,” he explained. “But [my wife and daughters] have made me such a better man. They made me see things in a different way. They taught me so much more about life, about how to be a man.”

Perhaps the most famous couple in country music, the two are set to celebrate 30 years of marriage next year. It’s a safe bet their daughters will be at their side for the milestone moment. Here’s everything to know about Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s three kids: Gracie, Maggie, and Audrey.

Gracie McGraw

McGraw and Hill became parents in 1997, welcoming oldest daughter Gracie on May 5. Her parents managed to give her a childhood out of the spotlight, but eventually her passion for performing won out. After graduating from New York University, Gracie moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming an actress.

Her dad admitted it wasn’t easy to help his first child move to Tinseltown. He helped her take the cross-country trek in his Cadillac Escalade, removing the seats so he could load up her stuff. “When I dropped her off, I just lost it,” he recalled on Audacy’s Rob + Holly podcast in 2023. “And then I had to drive home all by myself. I was crying the whole time.” 

While the transition may not have been easy, Gracie found her footing in L.A. She played Tanya on Tyler Perry’s If Loving You Is Wrong from 2018 to 2020. She also appeared alongside her mother, Hill, on an episode of Be My Guest with Ina Garten in 2022.

As for the oldest McGraw-Hill possibly following in her parents footsteps, don’t rule out the possibility. At just 18 years old, the multi-talented creative recorded a duet with her father titled “Here Tonight.” The two performed the song at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, The Tennessean reported.

Gracie opened up about her identity in June 2025 (Pride Month in the U.S.), taking to Instagram Stories to publicly share that she identifies as queer. On June 2, she reshared a post that read, “Everyone get more gay now” and wrote below it, “HAPPY FREAKING PRIDE [sic] I love being queer.” In a follow-up Instagram Story, the 28 year old clarified that the story was not her coming out. “I’ve been an out and proud queer, bisexual woman and I wouldn’t have it any other way,” she wrote.

Although McGraw and Hill have yet to publicly react to Gracie’s posts, Hill supported country singer Chely Wright when she came out in 2010. Wright shared in a SiriusXM interview that the “This Kiss” singer privately reached out to her, The Advocate reports. Additionally, in a 2020 People profile, McGraw shared that he’s “proud” of his daughters for speaking up on issues that matter to them. “They’re very outspoken in their beliefs and what they believe in,” he said. “They don’t tolerate injustice for anybody, for themselves or for anybody else. And they speak up about it. And I’m really proud of that.”

Maggie May McGraw

The country couple welcomed their second daughter, Maggie May McGraw, on August 12, 1998. Like her older sister, she spent her childhood away from the public eye. According to her LinkedIn profile, she attended Nashville’s Ensworth School before going to Stanford University. She graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Earth Systems: Oceans, Atmosphere, and Climate before receiving her Master’s in Sustainability Science and Practice.

Celebrating Maggie’s graduation with her Master’s degree in June 2021, her father took to Instagram to share his pride in his daughter. “We are so incredibly proud of our Maggie May!!!!” he wrote, adding, “I have such admiration for her work ethic, her fierce love of her family and especially her passion to make the world a better place….. Go get em my sweet girl!!!! Proud Pop!”

Passionate about the environment and national security policy, the middle child of the McGraw-Hill family boasts an impressive resume with internships at the U.S. House of Representatives and the Senate. Currently, she works as a research and policy advisor for the non-profit Earth League International.

While Maggie might not have chosen a musical career path, her family’s talent runs in her veins. On May 31, 2025, she and her sisters took the stage with McGraw for a performance of his song “Last Dollar (Fly Away),” People reported. The trio were featured the song as children when it was recorded back in 2007. Maggie was the spitting image of her mom as she sang along to the song’s chorus at Nashville’s Music City Rodeo.

Outside of her work life, Maggie shares occasional glimpses at her personal life on her Instagram. In July 2024, she shared photos of herself and a “date” named James Rubin, both dressed up for a formal event. Almost a year later, Parade reported that she posted a picture of her and Rubin kissing on a beach to her Instagram Story, captioning it “1 year” and tagging him. She hasn’t shared more details on her partner or their relationship, however, preferring to keep her romance out of the spotlight.

Audrey McGraw

McGraw and Hill completed their family on December 6, 2001, welcoming youngest daughter, Audrey McGraw. Hill told Good Housekeeping in a now-deleted 2007 article that Audrey (her mother’s namesake) was born prematurely and had to stay in the hospital for almost three weeks. 

Quoting the Good Housekeeping article, AOL revealed that the family found hope during the scary situation by starting a new Christmas tradition. “Every year, to celebrate Audrey’s birthday, we decorate the tree on the sixth,” Hill shared. “It’s a little bit of a challenge, keeping a live tree fresh for the entire month of December. But there’s no other way we’d do it: We decorate on the sixth, and it has to be a live tree.”

The youngest McGraw finished high school in June 2020. Like her sisters, she attended Ensworth School in Nashville, graduating in 2020. Her proud dad celebrated her accomplishment in an Instagram post that also gave a shoutout to her sister Maggie, another 2020 grad. “Boom! Great work ladies! Mom and I are so proud of y’all!!! ❤️💪” he wrote, tagging his wife.

Since finishing school, Audrey has tried her hand at modeling and singing. In December 2020, she starred in a Tory Burch campaign which the brand founder shared on Instagram. She also made an appearance in her dad’s “7500 OBO” music video in 2021. McGraw told Leo Edit in a since-deleted interview that she’d moved to New York City that year.

As of May 2025, the budding singer is joining Grammy Award-winner Brandi Carlile on her Lost Time Tour in Europe. Sharing the news on Instagram, Audrey described herself as “Speechless, truly.” The artist released her debut single, a cover on Neil Diamond’s “I Am…I Said,” on May 15.

Off-stage, the 23-year-old singer has been quietly dating Lincoln Lawyer star Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, 44, since June 2023. People reported that the two live on opposite coasts—Audrey in NYC and Garcia-Rulfo in L.A.—but spend time together when they can. The couple were last spotted together in October 2024.
