Travis Kelce may have been dating Taylor Swift for almost two years, but it turns out, he’s really just another Swiftie at heart. Case in point? His adorable fanboy response to the news that the singer finally bought back her masters.
Last week, Swift shocked fans by announcing that she had finally managed to buy back all of her music after Big Machine Records sold her masters to Scooter Braun back in 2019. “I’ve been bursting into tears of joy at random intervals ever since I found out that this is really happening,” she wrote in a message on her website on May 30. “I really get to say these words: All of the music I’ve ever made… now belongs… to me.”

Now, Swift’s boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end, Travis Kelce, has responded to the news in the sweetest way possible. While speaking on New Heights, the podcast he shares with his brother Jason, the tight end chatted with their guest Shaquille O’Neal about the exciting news. In a clip from the episode, O’Neal played Swift’s track “I Knew You Were Trouble” on his phone as the Kelce brothers grinned and danced along. O’Neal then said, “That’s my favorite song in the world, brother.”
Kelce replied, “Shout out to Tay Tay,” adding, “Just got that song back, too. Just bought all her music back so it’s finally hers, man, I appreciate that, dog. Love you big dog.”

Kelce and Swift have kept a low profile since the singer supported the tight end at the Super Bowl in February. Since then, the’ve reportedly been spending time with friends and family away from the spotlight and “talk about the future.” Last month, the pair were spotted on a few cozy dinner dates—one in Philadelphia and another in Palm Beach.

More recently, Swift has been spending some solo time in New York City, while Kelce begins training for the upcoming NFL season. On May 29, Swift was spotted dining at Via Carota with Dakota Johnson and their brothers. A few days later, she had dinner in the city with Selena Gomez. Although Kelce wasn’t present, her outfit reportedly paid tribute to their relationship.
